Age of Empires, which was introduced in 1997, is being adapted by Microsoft's support of today's standards. The definitive edition of the RTS game, which has been widely played at the time of the day, has been announced at the Gamescom 2017 fair. With 4K graphics, players will be able to replay the game, refreshed music and Xbox Live multi-player system content. The production team, who also made improvements on the game side, said that in Age of Empires: Definitive Edition there will be a classic game and a Rise of Rome expansion. The game's release date is October 19, 2017.

On the other hand, remember that Age of Empires 2 and 3 will also have separate versions of Definitive Edition. It is not clear at the moment when these versions, which are in the development stage yet, will be released to the market.
